How it started
For nearly four years, every morning on the SkyTrain became my classroom.
While most people were scrolling through their phones, I was looking out the window.
As the train made its way from the Fraser Valley into Downtown Vancouver, I watched the city come to life. The Vancouver Public Library, Canada Place, office towers, retail plazas, warehouses, and construction cranes weren't just part of the skyline—they sparked my curiosity.
I found myself asking the same questions every day:
- Who had the vision to build this?
- Why here?
- What made one project successful while another struggled?
Those daily commutes changed the way I saw the world. What started as simple curiosity grew into a passion for understanding the strategy behind real estate—the decisions, the planning, and the people who transform ideas into thriving communities.
Looking back, I realized I wasn't just commuting to university. I was discovering the career I was meant to pursue.
